Jon Allende // Operacion Triunfo 2009

 

Jon Allende is one of the contestant in the coming final of operation triunfo. As i will say he has a good voice and nice music! Hope he will soon be part of the 3 finalist and of course i will be the one of those who will buy his cds when out!

 

Jon, 23 years old from Nervion,Baracaldo. He sings in the orchestras. He likes rock, pop. His music influence by Freddy Mercury and Elvis Presley. With his smiles and charms! He deserves it!!

Madrid Gay Pride Week 2009// Part II

As one of the things to be posted are the events of this week Madrid Gay Pride 2009.

July 1 started the activities in the Barrio of Chueca. Opening up to various areas like Plaza de Chueca in which Boriz Isaguirre and Soraya open up the festival . Soraya Arnelas former Operacion Triunfo and who represented Eurovision 2009 this year animated the event. Plaza de Chueca is the heart of the GLBT district where thousand of people conglomerated to enjoy the music and the shows courtesy of the organizers of MADO (madrid orgullo). Chueca is decorated with rainbow flags, each and every corner of the street and bars line up infront with their refreshments and cocktails to refresh the summer heat! DJ’S with the disco beats of techo, to Michael Jackson “Beat It” sounds up every corner of Calle Libertad and Calle Pelayo.

Along Plaza de Vazquez Mella, Cayetana Guillem Cuervo started the event. Together with other Djs and music accompanied her and people are dancing to the beat. Stand up bars like The Paso, Medaigual, Txueca, Cogam line up for drinks and cocktails, Fundacion Triangulo too has its booth for awareness. To the left of the stage the facade of Hotel Oscar covered with rainbow colours too!

Day 2 : July 2. Pelayo Street. Calle Pelayo. This street is also known in Madrid. you can see the A Different Life, GLBT bookstore from movies, books, calendars etc. You can see also The Eagle, a Leather Bar. SaunaMen, a sauna for young ones! if you try to have a look! They had here yesterday the Carrera de Tacones. High-heel Run. wherein men who will wear womens dress with their high heels and join the run!

Madrid Pride Week 2009

Every year at the end of June and first week of July people are waiting for this event. The festive of Colours!! red, blue, yellow. More to say the flag of the rainbow waiving up high to the Madrid Sky. This event the Gay Pride 2009!! Madrid hosted 2 years ago the Europride were Madrid is the center of the eye of the countries in Europe. This year again, the city is waiting for the turn up of millions of people. not only from the GLBT community but also tourists from all over the world. Madrid is a city with tolerance and freedom. This event known to be the 3rd largest hosting the pride from the world next to Sao Paulo, Brazil and New York City.

The heart of the event will be centred to the barrio of CHUECA!! There will be street concert and events wherein different artist, singers, actors will inagurate the event starting July 1, 2009. Calle Pelayo and Calle Libertad will be included. Plaza de Chueca, Plaza del Rey and Plaza de Vazquez Mella.

There will be parallel events organized by the group MADO and Infinitamente 09. MTV Day will be Kylie Minogue Presentation. Space and Sala Macumba Spit of Fire and some of the names like Colton Ford, Francesco D’Macho and Martin Mazza. LesMadrid 09. Bear Pride 2009.

The event of the selection of Mr. Gay Pride 2009 will be held in Plaza de Vazquez Mella on Friday.

As we can see in this cover of this album,Michael Jackson will be in our history. Known to be the KING OF POP named by Elizabeth Taylor.

He has been listed in the Guiness World Record. He has such ground-breaking videos as “Billie Jean,” “Beat It” and the epic “Thriller.” A record of 13 Number 1 Singles.

Michael Jackson become an icon in music. His music attributed everyone in the world. He has become the King of Pop and contributed his music in everyone today as his top hits songs like Billie Jean, Thriller and Beat it still on the radios and disco house. Today people around the world mourn for his lost but we will carry MJ named in our hearts and music for the rest of our times! Michael may you rest in Peace!

Tinto de Verano // Time for Reflection

Dear JJNN,

It’s been a while since the four elements reunite. It’s been a while since the four elements had their trip on that dawn of August in the park. It’s been a while since then when they had their first trip in the Wari Waro Kingdom. It’s been a while……

Now to give you some updates. It’s half of the year again and its time for refletion of what happened on the first half of the year. The four elements went over in different lands. As their master told them that they must seach themselves of what they need in order to fulfill their dreams.  Wind went along the Mountains of Pyrenees and even meditate in Monserrat and sailed in the shores of Sitges. His meditation and his traveled aid him to gain more strength after the storm he had traversed last year. Water and Fire had sailed in the Orient Seas. They had spend together their voyage to gain power, strength and to think that they had still powers to conquer others and spread their kindship and love to the people around. Fire was so happy that he had found the light and corresponed with thunder the book of his life but decided not to continue his new chapter as he cant see himself ending up with other goddess. Earth is silent. calm and tranquil. It’s been a long when he went to the north in A-Vila and Villa -Olid to visit the places and reflect on his own.

Carrying still the symbols and powers that they had. They will reunite this coming summer and continued to their journey being ONE in the nothern Balcan in the land of Bruges and Ghent.

Fire attended the wedding of the people last time and he was overwhelmed by the openness of the people.He had sailed too in the Kingdom of Andalusia guided by the moon in May.  A big event he was waiting and of course he will be there to celebrate the festive of the Land of Many Colors.

Brillante Mendoza wins Best Director in Cannes Film Festival 2009 “Kinatay”

Brillante Mendoza recieved the award for Best Director of the Cannes Film Festival 2009 in the film ” Kinatay” . this is his third year in Cannes film Festival, last year he also compete for the film ” Serbis”. Also cast in his both film Mercedes Cabral and Coco Martin.

The top teen Brit Series ” As IF” is nice and i could still remember each POV. In this scene where Alex ( Orlando Wells ) meet Dan ( Adam Sinclair) and in the 3rd season Alex meet Mark ( Callum Blue).

Sid Lucero // Cannes Film Festival 2009

Sid Lucero and Raya Martin attended the Photocall of their movie ” Independencia” in which the film is included at Cannes Film Festival Un Certain Regard.

The story of mother and son in the late 1890s hding from the American invasion of the Philippines  hiding out in the forest.And at the forest, the son met a girl and ended up having a child with her too. Set at the backdraft of 1890s setting.

Mother played by Techie Agbayani. Alessandra de Rossi ( Small Voices) played the girl and Sil Lucero ( Donsol, Batanes, Selda ” The Inmates”) played the son. Sid Lucero won the Best Actor from the film ” The Inmates” tied with Emilio Garcia in Thessaloniki Film Festival.
