14th Lesgaicinemad 2009

14th Festival Internacional de Cine Lesbico Gai y Transexual in Madrid is now on the road! The 14th Gay and Lesbian film festival had already their line ups this coming Oct 29, 2009 to Nov 8, 2009. For more than 105 films, from Feature length films, Short Films and Documentaries.

Here are some of the film Features:

Soundless Wind Chimes, Ander, Eating All Out, Shank, Rabioso Sol,Rabioso Cielo.

This year the festival will give award to the director Ventura Pons for his career. Pons is known for his films like Amic/ Amat,  Caricias, Manjar de Amor (Food of Love), Forasters.

Stephen Gately (1976-2009)

Stephen Patrick David Gately known as Stephen Gately , an irish singer and actor born on 17th of March 1976 . He was of the boy band Boyzone and died on Oct 10, 2009 at the age of 33. He was with his partner Andrew in Mallorca Island on holidays in Port Andraxt. He was one of the teen idols of the 90s when he was in the Boyzone. Later that year Stephen went out with his solo album ” New Beginning” and that time of his coming out in 1999. He is married to Andrew Cowles.

I dedicate this song to all the fans in the world of Stephen Gately and the rest of the Boyzone. We can all make it BETTER and live with his good memories.

* While i was listening to this song and writing up this blog i cant stop myself from shedding tears. Its such a premature death for someone who uplift you and had the courage to be himself of who he was. Rest in Peace, Stephen Gately.

Fama A Bailar 3!

Fama A Bailar now on its third season aired in Spanish TV Cuatro, Now with the same theme DANCE!! and now captivates the fire within the students of this school. They should dance from Jazz, contemporary, lyrical, Street and funky. Sadly some are voted out already thelike. Omar!! And now nominee Juanma. and the best Jonathan who had the immunity this week!! Gran Hermano 11 // SPAIN

Big Brother Spain already started and now in the 11th Season!! people love it and always with this new twist and turns of the house as this year there were games played and the ” Spy house” for the other Big Brother.

From the Spy house we can see Laura and her wife but now abandoned the house since their secret where already revealed by Lis. IN the House Big Brother 11 we have Arturo ” The Dolphin ” as they nicknamed him. Could he be the new Ivan? The angelic face Gonzalo was voted out as he had big arguments with Siscu!! Curiosly having arguments only in their shorts and shirtless body…. Hmmmm. Now this two are out whose gonna put some heat in the house?… flick in!!!

Summer 2009 // Milan, Italy

 

My summer of 2009 was in Milan, Italy. I travelled with my 5 friends, one of them 2 of them i always travelled during summer. It was 2 years ago we went to Palma de Mallorca Island in Balleares, Spain. Last year me and my other friend went to Amsterdam, The Netherland and this year the 3 of us again reunited in Milan, Italy.

Some say that Milan is dark and grey. Old building and quite dull, but on the contrary Milan is the shopping and fashion capital of Italy. From the top fashion areas and known Quadrilatero D’Oro….if you have money to spend why not here!!!!

Aside from that One of the best built church in Lombardy is the Duomo. The fascade are great representing its biblical based and religious icons. And you mersemerized with the view inside and the top over looking the centre of Milan.

Next to it is the Galeria Vittorio Emmanuel with is Dome!!

Party at night in one of the glam strip of Corso Como! And another early night stroll to the Barrio of Naviglio! ride with its tram and its buses all long way!!

Milan has a lot to offer. A day excursion to Lago Di Como as we did while we were there!!! its magnificent!!!

Sergio Lara // Mr. Gay Europe 2009

Sergio Lara is now the MR. GAY EUROPE 2009 !!! Celebrated in Oslo Norway. Spain for consecutive year won the title. This year Sergio was crown by the last year winner Antonio Pedro Almijes!

Sergio was born in Requena near Barcelona. He is licensed in Psycology. He’s also musician.He’s now the representative of Europe in this coming 2010 Mr. Gay World also in Olso. Sergio has blue eyes, blond hair and a nice body!!

Apart from winning against other candidates in Barcelona, he represented during Mr Gay Pride Spain, where he won that night of the title Mr. Gay Spain 2009. Last Saturday in Oslo, he won the title for a spanish in second consecutive year!

He said. ” He won’t deny that they value the beauty not only that one”.. Sergio commented. He hopes to win Mr. Gay World in next year.

His great asset as he worked in a NGO that dedicates test of VIH and assesor of the GLBT group. That time he gets the grand votes with his swimwear,formal wear, casual, and even play the guitar. And won also the Best in Swimwear. How he said he’s preparing for next year event in OSLO!!

Wines & Champagnes in San Miguel

The other day and its so hot in Madrid, I went out with Peruvian friend Miguel and American friend Joana in one sunday afternoon. If you have been to Madrid and you’ve pass by Mercado San Miguel, they have restored that old market place into a new one, more modern and cosmopolitan. They offer there foods like olives, cheeses, jamon, chipirones and etc. They event had good pastries and delicacies so when you come to Madrid. Its worth a visit. Well back to the event, well as i can say we where there to chill out and had wines and a glasses of champagne and we meet this cool group of people. Like people said “  Madrid Abierto ” Madrid Open, to every people. We met Ismael, Carlos, Noiysi, Pedro, Fernando, and some other guys from Germany on the other table. We ended up good together that time. Since summer a good glass of Tinto de Verano is worthy now its too hot in Madrid.

This coming weeks i will be in Hiatus as holiday comes around! So Enjoy Summer!

Alberto played by Gerard Marti, he was working as a barman in the Sunset club, and a flatmate of Victor. Secretly he has a crush on him.

Victor played by Jose Alvares, now friend of Fonsi. He was so upset as his father is gay and now living with him and his mom.

Angel played by Toni Bernetti, the son of Luis, and work as a DJ and lifeguard in the Sunset.

The Green Apples of Miguel

Dear JJNN,

Let me tell you now what happened from the past months. An update of the four elements. I do hope you still remember what happen on that last summer. Dont know if they will go back again there. But i guess its a good time to go back since its summer and the dew of the morning is fresh and brezee.

One sunday afternoon that the element Fire went out with the apprentice. They scout the whole yard and the area of the Villa and then they turned up into Miguel’s fruit yard. Fire was so amaze of what he had seen, there are lots of fruits and vegetables around and in one corner side, a glittering green apples. These apples was captivated with his eyes and couldnt move on. The apprentice was dragging him off but yet he was still there unmoved. Then the owner of the vineyard came toward them and asked Fire if he wanted it. Then he replied a big ” YES” . Miguel’s face was so clear and with that smile in his face maybe thinking now this is the time. When Miguel would give Fire the apples, the apprentice drag him along and move. The temptation was almost there but thinking aside he said, why cant he have the green apples? Maybe another like Adam and Eve in the garden? But this is green. comoufladed.  ” Temptations sometimes comes in every form, in every shape and in every way. No matter how good and beauty it poses still it hiddens motive inside ” Luckily Fire didnt caught into FIRE!

Element Wind went over months on his holidays. Leaving the mountains of Pyrenees where he currently resides. He has gone up north in the Kingdom where his apprentice Simon resides. They have toured the county and the castles around. Simon showed the village, where they get the boat and sailed  it the whole afternoon. Soon he will be back in Pyrenees.

Element Earth and Water are still undecided. They havent been outside the Kingdom where they reside. Nor their apprentice where there too. Quiteness and calm for them.

 

Fire and his apprentice will go to the north in two weeks time to enjoy some of their holidays.
