It was an honored to meet with my fellow bloggers turned to be very close friends. At the very beginning my feelings was that I’ve knowned them for many years now but it was the first time that I met them personally. That Sunday afternoon in Gateway in Araneta Center in Cubao, Quezon City we met, we agreed to meet at around 3 pm. But i really appreaciate their efforts, they even change their iteneraries to meet me.
Who are they? Let me intoduced to you one by one.
First I met Mr Jay Lozada ( Jay Lozada Blog) , I met him here in Madrid when Kubrador went to Film Festival. ( Directors in Madrid ),We went for a lunch with delicious Filipino delicacies. I was looking for my watch making sure that I would make up for 3′oclock meet up.
I went there by the said time when Mr. Phill ( Les Chansons Du Cadet Dugumon ) greeted me ” Señor Neil“, I smiled the way he greeted me. Very courteous. Hehe, but i like it so much. I introduced him to Mr. Jay. Sir Lozada couldn’t make to stay because he had other appointments.
We went to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf place and we ordered drinks and a piece of Chocolate cake. I love that so much. We talked with Sir Phill, He’s very nice person, down to earth and a good friend. Here comes another beep in my cellphone. Mr. Chris is rushing the square. He asked me where we are, that was about 15 minutes past 3.
Sir Chris ( Cookie Jar ) was breathing so hard, i could still hear his heart pumping when he arrived. I introduced him to Sir Phill. We ordered another drink. I know that he needs that from running. I appreaciate him a lot that he managed to meet me. He was out of town that morning. I featured him here before, checked this links ( BOR features Cookie Jar ) ; ( Kouros: Christian ) ;( Chris online voting ). A good friend and a happy person.
Then my cellphone started to vibrate when Gilbert ( Crossroads ) texted me he was there as well so he came over and I introduced him to the 2 guys! I’ve known Gilbert for almost 8 years now. so he’s almost a buddy with me. So Sir Phill, Sir Chris, Sir Gilbert and I were chatting and having good conversations. The topics was almost everything, from work, to family, from movies to lovelife, from friends and even sex. Haha!!
After that we agreed to stroll around the area,it was really nice bonding together and it seems that we’ve known each other for years now. But it was only a minute!! So we decided to watch a movie. So it was 5:30 pm when we went to get tickets to watched ” Ang Cute ng Ina mo! “ a filipino movie-comedy.
Before that we had a snack at Pizza Hut. So yummy ceasar salads, spaghettis and iced tea…
we rush our snacks and went to the cinema! We were laughing so hard inside as we watched the film. So funny to the max. There are lines in the movies that places have the meanings of its abbreviation.
I finished at 9 pm. when we supposedly headed for Fahrenheit cafe and fitness but we got a cab and went to Quattro for a late night meal. Chicken in a sizzling sauce and sisig ( a filipino cuisine ). I really had a good memories….and nice day!! Wish i could hang out the next time i come back again.
Ooops. this is not the end… there will be a part 2 of the meet up!! :)
