Best Actor: Daniel Day-Lewis for There will be blood.

Best Actress: Marion Cotillard for Edith Piaf.

Best Supporting Actress: Tilda Swinton for Michael Clayton.

Alberto Iglesias for Original Score for the film Kite Runner went home empty bagged by Atonement.

Best Original Song for Motion Picture bagged by the film Once:  Glen Hansard, Markéta Irglová(“Falling Slowly” ).
