Once upon a time …. A Royal Wedding

Once upon a time in a far away land…… this is the line that i always heard when someone was giving us a story telling….. When i was a kid, my language teacher will give us a story telling every friday…. In those days, I’ve heard the story of Cinderella, of Sleeping Beauty, of the Beauty and the Beast and Snow White… All these story was all about Princesses who are so humble and waiting for their Prince. Known to be a Royal Prince. A blue blooded white man, young with blue eyes and blond hair…. and when i grew up, these stories faded…. change to finding Neverland of Peter pan, the aminated cartoons and some japanese tvs astroboy, Bioman and Shaider….  teenager years, I never thought of anything about these since i came to Spain. The Royal monarchy exist…. Prince Felipe married to Princess Leticia….. And my eyes saw and live with it. I have been there while the known to be Princess wedding cars passing along the street…… And now at 2011. The  son of the late Lady Diana’ wedding today…. So then I realised that every dream when your a kid will still come true… It’s not that we are waiting for our Prince or Princess or we live in a Castle or Palace,the important thing is still keep on dreaming, besides its Priceless…

Yesterday i was looking at some stuff at home and some notebooks. I saw this red covered like thickler of mine. I wrote here some of my daily journals and also i wrote here some short stories that i was so inspired of the situations and it depends as well the day and the mood.  So i am sharing you some of it. Excerpt from the red diary.

It was August 20,2010 when Carlos and Nelson meet after a summer break when Carlos went to Italy. Nelson was so happy to meet Carlos so he can tell his stories of his trip. They met during the night and they went for a dinner, Even though Carlos didn’t told Nelson that it was his birthday, Nelson bought something special for him. Something too keep.. A reminder of their love. That was the start of a chance of sharing each other love for each other…. (to be continued).

Will You Be My Teddy Bear?

Dear JJNN,

It’s been a while since i wrote you an open letter. Right now im in the confused state. Just recently had a separation in my relationship and still coping up to move on. Just for the moment, I am going out with some friends and family to cope up and had to feel the confort in them.. My heart is aching so much. Deeply Hurt. Hope it will heal soon and it will be okay. Thanks again for your words.

Please take time to be with yourself. Hope you can have a peace of mind. Think that you a valuable like a diamond and you are so precious. Others can’t see that one, because they are blind. You’ve done such a good things not only to your former relationship but also to the people around you that is why they love you so much. You make them happy too, and in return surely you will be rewarded. Your so sweet and kind, Your romantic at the same time. So cheer up and continue, you can find the right person who can appreciate all your sacrifices and will understand you whole heartedly and accept you of who you are. Being in a relationship is a quite difficult, you have to accept the fact that there will be a changes, sometimes there are things that your are doing before you commit will have to change. and accept it in order to have a good relatioship, learning process.  Anyway. Have a great sense and cheer up…

Marco Rodrigues (Tantas Lisboas, 2010)

After Fados da Tristeza Alegre (2006), singer Marco Rodrigues released last september his second album, Tantas Lisboas (2010), through Universal Music. In this album he collaborated with artists such as Carlos do Carmo and Mafalda Arnauth and among the composers and lyricists Tiago Machado, Boss AC, Tiago Torres da Silva and Inês Pedrosa.

Marco Rodrigues who live in Arcos de Valdevez believes that ” fado” are incredible. Coming to Lisboa with her mother changes everything. At home people knew that he had a talent in singing, so at that time television gave you popularity so then on he win in the Coliseum in Lisbon for Grande Noite do Fado.

After 10 years had passed, Marco has proved an enduring one, now release another album not pretending to change something but the way on how he sees the musical genre.

Marco says that ” In this CD have a theme that I wanted a song in which he had an array of fate, that people identify not even having the usual characteristics. I wanted to make a topic to talk about love, but a happy love, “clarified Marco Rodriguez, referring to the theme” The inverse of Fado “, where you can hear a passage that says:” When you walk in the night it is … and clarity has emerged on the street every time. “This is what the singer describes as “fado, but not cliché, as it has a fresh letter and this music can also be joyful, “.
