The final night of OT is a Duel of the Titans. From Jon, Mario and Brenda. Mario known to be the best student. Brenda Mau, the peruvian girl that captures everyone with her high notes! and Jon from rock and roll to ballads.

Mario – Winner with almost 50.5 % percent of votes

Brenda Mau – 2nd Placer of 49.5 % of votes

Jon Allende – 3rd Placer

Mario sang that night 2 solos and 1 duet : ” Everything I do, I do it for you”, ” Save the last dance for me” and a duet with Cristina ” I still haven’t found what im looking for”.

Brenda Mau – sang ” Teach me Tonight ” and “Listen” while her duo with Angel Cappel ” Labios Compartidos”.

Jon Allende from Barakaldo, being the 3rd placer for this year Operacion Triunfo. Eternal nominee from the beginning of the contest but he has performed more and more at ease to the songs that he sang in the Gala. From the semi-final one on one Jon and Angel Capel, he had sang ” Who wants to live forever” and through this song he had gone to the finals.

Last night, the final of OT. He sang again ” Hold the Line”. and a duet with Patricia ” Me dedique a perderte”. Being the 3rd placer of 31 % of voting, he said goodbye and thank you song ” Gavilan o Paloma”.

Hope we can have his solo album songs and I’m one of a fan. Congratulations Jon Allende!

The week on the pride on third day and i lots of activities in Chueca district. Of course i had a chance to meet with Madrid counselor, secretary from Social Movement and relations of Psoe, Pedro Zerolo.

From Chueca district opening up the activities are Soraya Arnelas ( who represents Spain in the Eurovision and Boris Isaguire)

Jon Allende is one of the contestant in the coming final of operation triunfo. As i will say he has a good voice and nice music! Hope he will soon be part of the 3 finalist and of course i will be the one of those who will buy his cds when out!

Jon, 23 years old from Nervion,Baracaldo. He sings in the orchestras. He likes rock, pop. His music influence by Freddy Mercury and Elvis Presley. With his smiles and charms! He deserves it!!

This next week will be the OT finals so the six finalist were name last night. A duel between Virginia and Ivan. As for Virginia its like the phenomenon of ” Idaira” of last time Operación Triunfo. She’s the favorite and won almost 5 nominations. At least she deserved to be on the top 6. besides the audience will be the one who will decide. The top 6 finalist contenders are : Manu, Pablo, Chipper, Mimi, Sandra, and Virginia. This year OT 2008 is gay friendly. Chipper with his boyfriend and Tania as well with her partner. Ivan recently came out and that’s make the team song of MIKA on the backdraft! …..

Ruben left the academy last night at GALA 4 where he compete with Esther. From 53 votes against 47 votes. He will leave us his cute smile and charm.

I knew it, before i have posted the pictures in the internet about the Gala 0 night choosing top 16, a duel between Ruben and the rest. My pronostic 3 male where Ruben, Pablo and Manu and for the girls Anabel. And they were the favorite of the GALA 1, who was Ruben saved from nomination and being the Favorite!! Yes!!!

Rubén Muñoz Romero is a 21 years old professor of marcial arts in a gymnasium and classes of kids too. People considered him the Iker Casillas of this edition. But his talent is singing. ( arent they look a like).

Pablo López Jiménez is 24 years old who loves music and plays the musical instrument like piano and the guitar. When he was 10 years old he has been in the show ” Veo Veo”.

Manuel Castellano Delgado has experience in other teatre musicals. He is the first who enter the academy with his audition online.

That Tuesday night was very crucial since OT Operacion Triunfo 2008 will choose 16 candidates from 18 candidates who have presented their music that night. And on the loose rope the three guys Ruben, Juanjo and Jorge are on the final decision through the viewers and at the end of the night they have chosen Ruben to enter the academy.

Jorge González Guerra is a model and a singer of orchestra. He had already audition from the previous OT 5.

Juanjo Matas Bernabé is a nurse and 28 years old. He is a member of Duo Musical.

Tonite will be the start of Operación Triunfo 2008. From 25 candidates will be shortlisted to 18 and 16 only will enter the house. Jesus Vasquez will host this year OT and director will be Angel Llacer. Still on the judges are Risto Mejide and Noemi Galera.
