Mister Gay España 2010 Candidates

This coming July 2, 2010 Friday will be the final search for Mr Gay España. A whole month of May and June was the election for the national search for the competition of this year Mr Gay España 2010. Before the parade on July 3 of the Madrid Pride we will have the final of Mr Gay Spain who will represent Mr Gay Europe in Switzerland and Mr Gay World next year in the Philippines!

Goya Awards 2010 (Spanish Film Academy Awards)

February 14,2010, its cold and there is no red carpet but its green and time for the Spanish Film given bodies to give awards to Spanish Cinema at the  Palacio de Congresos Madrid, celebrated the Annual Spanish Film Academy Awards, Goya Awards 2010.  It’s like the glamour of Hollywood as Oscars Awardees are gathered at this celebration. Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, Pedro Almodovar, Alejandro Amenabar and this year contenders for Oscar’s Foreign Films and Shorts are also nominated at their respective categories.

Raul Arevalo won the Best Supporting Actor in his role from the movie ” Gordos” by Daniel Sanchez Arevalo. The award given by Penelope Cruz. They say that he’s the Spanish Sean Penn.

Alberto Ammann, won promising New Actor award for his role in Celda 211. Award given by Mario Casas and Marisa Paredes.

Best Short film went to ” La Dama y La Muerte ” by Javier Recio Garcia. His short was also nominated Oscar 2010 for Best Short Film.

Alejandro Amenabar film “ Agora“, worn mostly of the technical Awards and he won Best Original Screenplay.

Surprise of the night, Pedro Almodovar giving the Best Picture for Celda 211.

Juan Diego Botto elegant suit, one of the presentors, remembering his film Plata Quemada with Eduardo Noriega whose also present in the awards.

Elegant and admired, Jordi Molla and his espectacular role in ” El Consul de Sodoma“, nominated for Best Actor but Luis Tosar got this one for his Celda 211.

Not so Big was given to “Gordos“ but with 8 big nominations, only Raul Arevalo won his best Supporting actor. At the top was the whole cast of Gordos with Director Daniel Sanchez Arevalo.

Madrid Gay Pride 2009

Last Saturday July 4,2009, The Madrid Pride started at Puerta de Alcala ending up in Plaza España with more than 32 floats. and all the streets of Gran Via are crowded with people. Another year of success i guess. This year aim is equality at school. Respect and equal rights. The streets again full of flags in their colours. Enjoy the pics!

Martin Mazza // Spitfire

Last time when i was in Royal Cool, I had a chance to meet the pornstar Martin Mazza. Well I’ve already met him last year too. and this is the second time now with pic of him. In this Pride 09, he has presented Spitfire in Space of Sound. Dance and up to the beat rythm where he sang his songs.

This is the cover of the book of Khalo Ali . Cuando todos Duermen. Ali’s book was about Undressing Martin Mazza by Khalo Ali. I nice book indeed. I had a bookmarked autograph by Khalo Ali in his book presentation.

Madrid Pride Week 2009

Every year at the end of June and first week of July people are waiting for this event. The festive of Colours!! red, blue, yellow. More to say the flag of the rainbow waiving up high to the Madrid Sky. This event the Gay Pride 2009!! Madrid hosted 2 years ago the Europride were Madrid is the center of the eye of the countries in Europe. This year again, the city is waiting for the turn up of millions of people. not only from the GLBT community but also tourists from all over the world. Madrid is a city with tolerance and freedom. This event known to be the 3rd largest hosting the pride from the world next to Sao Paulo, Brazil and New York City.

The heart of the event will be centred to the barrio of CHUECA!! There will be street concert and events wherein different artist, singers, actors will inagurate the event starting July 1, 2009. Calle Pelayo and Calle Libertad will be included. Plaza de Chueca, Plaza del Rey and Plaza de Vazquez Mella.

There will be parallel events organized by the group MADO and Infinitamente 09. MTV Day will be Kylie Minogue Presentation. Space and Sala Macumba Spit of Fire and some of the names like Colton Ford, Francesco D’Macho and Martin Mazza. LesMadrid 09. Bear Pride 2009.

The event of the selection of Mr. Gay Pride 2009 will be held in Plaza de Vazquez Mella on Friday.

Mister Gay Pride Spain 2008

The election for Mister Gay Pride Spain 2008 will be celebrated today in Plaza de Vazquez de Mella in the district of Chueca. There will be 20 contestant from all over Spain who will show elegance, body and beauty. The pageant will be presided by the famous Deborah Ombres ( MTV SPAIN HOT). We will be previledge to have the presence of Mister Gay International 2008 Mister Argentina Carlos Fabian Melia.  This is another program from MADO Madrid Orgullo.

La elección para Mister Gay pride España 2008 serán celebrados hoy en Plaza de Vazquez de Mella en el distrito de Chueca. Habrá 20 concursantes de por todas partes España que mostrará la elegancia, el cuerpo y la belleza. El desfile será presidido por el famoso Deborah Ombres (MTV ESPAÑA). Seremos previlegiado de tener la presencia de Mister Gay Internacional 2008 Mister Argentina Carlos Fabian Melia . Esto es otro programa de MADO Madrid Orgullo.

I had a chance to meet Dir. Pedro Almodovar. The Spanish Oscar award winning director. He has his own style in his direction of films and craft. I would say that I love all his films.

His recently film VOLVER, in which his Penelope Cruz was nominated for Oscar Best Actress.
